Born and raised in Upstate New York, I retired in 2014 after 21 years in the military (19ZX). My family and I settled here in Killeen after returning from Germany in 2007. My wife Tamara, also retired after 20 years of service and I have been married 30 years with three children. My oldest son AJ is a Killeen Fireman/Paramedic, my daughter Taren works for Army Environmental Command and youngest child Johnathan works with a local law enforcement agency. In my free time I enjoy watching baseball and the New York Yankees. I’ve been very active in the community over the years and I enjoyed coaching Little League Baseball the most. I'm an Army Veteran..my real estate career started in 1979 while I was stationed at Fort Huachuca, AZ. I was an Air Traffic Controller and it was a good job for me at that time. My first broker taught me a lot about being a professional realtor and I give the credit to God and her for being my inspiration to stay in the business after all these years.
We moved to Texas in Feb. 1983 and I worked for several major franchises. In 1997 I enrolled in the Dale Carnegie Leadership course; it changed my life and helped me make the decision to build the office of my dreams. I purchased a Realty Executives franchise in Feb 1998 and got busy working to give my clients the service they deserved. I've spent thousands of hours training to build my skills and keep them sharp. I believe that every professional has an obligation to life long learning so they can ensure that they are at the top of their game and can handle any situation their clients might encounter.
Some of my favorite things are walking my 80 pound American Pit Bull Terrier 'Mr. King', reading 4/5 books at a time, love traveling and working with Habitat For Humanity, Communities in Schools, Church Ministry and Animal Rescue Groups, especially the most misunderstood dog in the world, Pitt Bull type breeds.
